I still think on a Professional level they shouldn't matter--but it's the damnedest thing. They matter even if you don't want them too because when it comes down to brass tax at the maximum ability level there really are tiers.

But I hate them either way. I'll never play professionally because the last thing I need is to be playing against some funless, tournytard who forgot why he was playing video games a long time ago.

lulz, it makes me laugh to see the "TIERS ARE FOR QUEERS" Randomly on serious youtube videos. We get it, it was funny once. Noone really cares anymore.

Yoshi is also humored that he's low tier. Face this yoshi with your characters that so called "Beat" Yoshi, and watch yoshi own you with his epic combos.

Strategy with yoshi: Knock into air, back air, repeat, when hit, hover back, and groundpound over them, or come down with a back air.

Yoshi is good for me because he has generic KO moves, his side smashes, and up smash. Yoshi isn't going to jump into the air with you, and up air just to land a KO.

Yoshi has a completely seperate strategy on other than 1 on 1s though.

You're exactly right.

Except for one thing: A lot of people actually do have fun doing that stuff. It's hard to understand why, honestly, but they do. But I'm sure there are people fitting that exact description. Because there will always be jerks.

Well I mean funless as in they're no fun to be around. My biggest qualm is the complete hatred of items. I fail to understand why they aren't allowed. Yea they can change the match in an instant, but how is that unfair. You gotta be able to cope and deal with the environment and what's given to you.

I mean I may complain when a bomb blows up in my face randomly, but I get over it quickly as it could've so easily have happened to them.

Actually, people are considering having items for competitive brawl play.
Why? you can shut containers off. You couldn't do that in melee. You have to shut everything off to get rid of containers?

Well what's wrong with containers? They explode from time to time. And what if one appears in front of someone while they're charging an attack up? They'll probably die, and through no fault of they're own. So people have actually made a list of balanced and unbalanced items.

Pretty much all bombs are banned, except maybe motion sensor, for the reason mentioned above.

If you want, I could go find the list.

Hmm--Well sure. I still like the satisfaction of landing a Bomb KO but I can see how they would annoy people. I might want to hold some tournaments in the future and I'd like to know what the more professional gamers think.

I usually beat the crap out of everyone on CPU lv.9, but I've encountered some dissapointing Sudden deaths in a while I always win but it doesn't give the same feel as kicking ass.

There it is.

For those not in the know, counterpick means that, if you lose a fight, you're allowed to turn on certain things for the next one.

Also, because of the fact that competition rules for 2vs2 matches is for friendly fire to be on, many things that are clearly over powered in 1 on 1 become balanced, including smash balls. Because what if you happened to kill your teammate?
