Mario had saved the Glitz Pit from Grubba's evil clutches, and now it had become a truly family-friendly, legitimate battle arena, a fun place for both the fighters and visitors alike.

Or so everyone thought.


Jolene walked into her office early in the morning, carrying a cup of hot vanilla chai and several wrestling magazines with her. She placed the cup of chai on her desk, then placed the magazines in her desk drawer and locked it tight with one of the keys from her keychain. She sat down, took a sip of the chai, and began logging in to the Glitz Pit computer system. She went to the list of fighters. "Let's check the ranks for today," she said to herself, "I forget whether Spiked Storm is higher or lower than Plzdonmakemefite..."

"... what?" She was shocked as she looked over the computer screen. "All fighter data has been deleted? Great. Now we have to start everything from the beginning again... I hope the fans don't get too angry." She paused to take another sip of her chai. "This is the second time this month. Something... strange... is going on with the computer system."


(We'll need a Grubba and a Rawk Hawk btw. But you don't have to be Grubba or Rawk Hawk if you just want to join.)

Slimeknight stepped out of the baloon onto the floating city of Glitzville

Slimeknight: Ok, let's go though an inventory check-off...

Slimeknight pulls out a list from somewhere in his armor

Slimeknight: Let's see... Sword, check! Sheild, check! Stock of Maple Supers, check! Stock of Boo Sheets, check! and stock of shooting stars, check!

Slimeknight puts away the list

Slimeknight: Well, that's everything. Now I'm ready to join the Glitz Pit roster!

Slimeknight enters the Glitz Pit and knocks to Jolene's door

Slimeknight:Eh, Ms. Jolene? May I speak to you about joining?

Jolene jumped in shock from the knock at the door, having been very focused on trying to fix the computer. However, nothing with the computer seemed to be working. She walked over to the door reluctantly, and opened it up. "You would like to register as a fighter?" She pulled a form off her desk, placed it on a clipboard with a pen, and handed it to the prospective fighter. "Please include your team name, an alternate team name, and all the members of your team."

Slimeknight took the form and starte writing. When he was finished, he gave it back to Jolene. Under Team Name, Slimeknight had written "The Goo of Doom". Under Alternate Team Name, he wrote "The Sludge Swordmaster". Under Members, Slimeknight simply wrote "Slimeknight". "And now, do I go to the locker room?" Slimeknight asked.

[Legendary Mashine]

"Yes, you may. Thank you very much for registering," Jolene said. "Unfortunately... our computer database was just wiped clean, and you're currently the only fighter that's signed up. Hopefully someone else comes in and signs up soon..."

[Super SlimeKnight]

"Ok. Thank you for your time." Slimeknight heads into the minor league locker room.

[Lord Vaati]

Without warning the lights in the room the two were in suddenly blacked out for a few seconds and when they came on again Vaati was standing before Jolene with four Dark Eyes circling him.

"I'd wish to sing up once again and I've already done everything I have to do." Said Vaati as a one of the Dark Eyes dropped a clip board with everything filled in.

The paper attached to the clip board had the following.

"Why, thank you very much. I'm sure our fans will be glad to know we're able to have some battles again now... just sign up for a match using the terminals in the locker room whenever you're ready."

[Rawk Hawk]

The Rawk Hawk was prancing around the stage with his recent victory. He crowd was screaming with madness after he pumeled the Large Legger. He walked out feeling proud but he hadn't seen Grubba in awhile which was very strange. He saw Jolene and walked to her,

"Where's Grubba?" asked the Rawk Hawk.

"He's been out of the Glitz Pit ever since the Great Gonzales defeated him, remember?" Jolene commented dryly.

[LoudKid]

[[HOORAY FOR PIME TARADOXES.]]

There was a knock at Jolene's door.

The ride up to Glitzville had been silent and slightly awkward, though all three of the passengers were looking forward to their debut in the Glitz Pit. It was the circumstances leading up to the dirigible ride that had made it so awkward; Ember Guy's death on the battlefield, which led to Heavy Weapons Guy and Glutton Guy resigning from duty. They had thought about it, and decided that they still loved fighting to much to give it up completely, and so they naturally came up with the Glitz Pit as their only option. But, then of course, came Ember Guy's deal with the devil, and his re-creation as Dead Guy. He was surprised by his friends' actions postmortem, but quickly changed his mind, and decided to join them. That was a week ago. They were all still getting used to the situation, but their awkward feelings were being muddled with anticipation at their stage debut, their training in new techniques and combo attacks, and on several occasions for a single member, hunger.

Thus they made their way around the arena to the door before them, and HWG raised his stump of a hand to the paneling, and awaited entrance.

Jolene opened the door once more.
"I take it you're here to register as fighters?" She handed HWG a copy of the form, assuming him as the leader since he was the one to knock on the door. "I've been seeing lots of solo fighters lately, good to have a team. Teamwork really inspires the crowds, you know?" She pushed up her glasses.

(We need a Grubba to start the actual plot part! Find a Grubba! T__T)

[Lord Vaati]

Vaati being the mage that he was had once again used the same portal he had hidden in one of the minor league locker room's lockers, and was training once more in the Dark World and if at anytime a Glitz Pit match started there was one of his Dark Eyes watching making sure to take note of each attack that were used so if Vaati was to fight one of the fighters he would be well prepared.

Just incase he was scheduled for a match he had Shadows stay in the locker room, so that if he has to fight someone at a lower rank, both Vaati and Shadows would magically switch places.

[Super SlimeKnight]

Slimeknight looks up from his Nintendo DS. "You know, I thought I heard something..."SLimeknight shuts his DS and goes over to a locker. He opens it, and sees nothing. "Oh well, must have been my imagination. TIme to go back to training my Gem Slime!" Slimeknight sits down, opens his DS, and continues playing

[[Wasn't there someone who played Grubba before? He was good...but I can't remember the person who did it...In any case, I don't wanna do it...]]

"Uh..."

He stared wordlessly at her for a second or two, then turned to the other two, pretty much at a loss.

Glutton guy sucked silently on an over-sized lollipop, not paying attention, and Dead Guy impatiently took the clipboard, and within seconds, the form was back in Jolene's hands, the info burned onto the paper, still sizzling.
