One of my favourite cartoon tropes is the Disney Acid Sequence. Colourful, fun, even more exaggerated and abstact than cartoons already are, and not even trying to make sense.
Among these, my favourite is Pink Elephants on Parade, from Dumbo. Everything about it makes me smile, makes me say "I wanna make stuff like that."

That really is freaky! And I really like it! Incidentally, in an episode of Tiny Toon Adventures, As Plucky Duck makes the transition from Egotistical Green Duck to Egotistical Green Duck with Einstein's IQ (thanks to Shirley the Loon's help), he ends up going through an Acid trip, only instead of Pink Elephants, there's visual representations of Albert Einstein.

- Here, take a look at the episode!

LOVED this. I also liked Heffalumps and Woozles, too.

Heffalumps and Woozles gave me horrid nightmares as a child, and still unsettles me to this day. Everything else in Winnie the Pooh was all happy and sweet and not-scary, and then they throw THAT at you. Freaky stuff.

That was a little scary. Heffalumps and Woozles just creeps me out.
