Seriously dude, putting it in a PLASTIC BAG? WHAT THE HELL? Seriously, I take my Wii and 360 to a gaming tournament EVERY WEEK and that never happens. Why? Because I put it in a BACK-PACK not a PLASTIC BAG. But, I'm glad you're ok, If I were you, I would send it to Sony (if you have a warrenty, if not, you should start considering it) and fix up the faceplate.

It wouldnt fit in my backpack Sad
I doubt Sony would fix cosmetic problems caused by my stupidity.

D: But I still don't see how someone can put a 15 pound thing into a plastic bag. XD

Oh well. When you play, hide it or something. OR you can BRAG about how STRONG your PS3 is!

Francis, what lapse of judgment would be large enough to make you carry your 50 pound PS3 in a plastic bag. And it should have survived, seeing as how damn big the things are...

The bigger they are, they harder they fall. I am surprised that it survived, since they are not meant to be travelled with (compared to wii or even xbox360). But then again, the inside is really tightly packed, so maybe there is no room for stuff to get loose.

I'm surprised the pavement didn't crack.
