The moon rises waning and pale over a graveyard ragged with plants; ivy climbs trees and tombstones alike--the place hasn't seen a groundskeeper in years. There is a slight chill in the air; crows shuffle idly on their leafy perches, cawing quietly.
Most of the graves here have begun to crumble--all but one, in fact. It's larger than the rest, and seemingly made of stronger stuff, though the engraved letters have long since been weathered to nothing.
...Look closer. A person with any sort of magical talent would be able to detect traces of a seal, bound long ago in dark power. However, the spell seems to have weakened, and would probably be simple to break.
There is obviously something going on here. That seal is there for a reason--though whether to keep you out or to keep something in is anyone's guess.
Will you investigate?
((...Yeah, no replies. That's what I thought. ._.; )) |

((*answers your cry.*)) *Flarissa had been wandering when detected the seal.* ...Neh? *She slowly approached the gravesone that carried it.* |

Upon closer inspection, you see that the stone bears a worn mark. It vaguely resembles a sun.
A small draft creeps up through a crack in the stone. You would only notice it if you were paying very close attention. |

*She was always alert around such a phenomenon.* She leaned on the stone, and tried to look through the crack to see if anything was within.* |

Birdo was using the graveyard as a shortcut to a mall, near the downtown area. Her interest soon fazed to a large tombstone that a spiny was also feasting it's eyes at. The stone was what caught her interest. |

There's some sort of chamber down there, without a doubt. Unfortunately, it's not lit at all. The only way to investigate would be to move the stone, and the only way to move the stone would be to break the seal. |

Birdo didn't feel like going to some old crypt...Or did she? |

While I would prefer to leave this sort of thing to Lora, I can't seem to stay away from this.* *She chanted a small spell, and made a chopping motion infront of the stone. It was a small seal breaking spell she had developed.* |

The seal gives way... rather violently, in fact. It takes most of the gravestone with it, revealing a set of dusty, cobwebbed steps leading down. |

Birdo quietly followed, hoping the spiny couldn't hear her. |

The stairway continues down for quite a ways, cramped and stinking of mold. After a while, though, it opens into a small room.
The room is a mess of sticky white fibers, with the occasional decrepit pile of bones. You hear something moving in the far corner--a massive white spider. Fortunately, it seems more frightened than predatory, and it skitters away at your approach.
There's another staircase at the other end of the room. Leading down, of course.
((Aaaand I'm back. Do you want to continue, or is this getting boring? Because it'll get better. I hope it will, at least. D:)) |

(RP-avoidant Devin has been RP-avoidant. >>; )
The sound of a rustic music box echoed across the scene as a colorfully-garbed woman stepped onto the scene, her painted eyes emotionlessly scanning the horizon.
