Nobody talks about Francine or Popple. Those were the mods who resigned, and they later starting becoming more are more disrespectful and vulgar. Why don't you nuts talk about them for once instead of complaining about something you should just do yourselves instead? Also, you people are all racist. It's only the Canadian moderators who get all the shit. |

I think you're all forgetting someone?
No?
Seriously, I think you are!
*lolconceded*
Anyway, I think, personally, that the only thing that's going to help the mods is time. They all know their problems, we members of digibutter have done nothing but point them out for months. They WILL learn, reguardless of what you might think. But, I still stand by that we have to all band together and help the mods, instead of putting all the responsibility on their shoulders. You won't believe how terrifying it really is to give out a strike...that your decision will cause a chain reaction of spam...that chaos might erupt...that Francis may yell at you...really, it's a lot more pressure than you might think. |

Man. That's...Well, I guess I'm glad I'm not a Canadian Moderator. Ouch. Even the friendly people in the north have sharp teeth. |

Yes, we definitely don't want to have me come out of the shadows...

The moderators, like all humans, are imperfect. You cannot expect them to be completely accurate and just in there decisions 100% of the time. In time, they will learn, yes. However, there is a way we can help them.
The answer is plain obvious.
Even TSSG3 mentioned it.
He stated that he didn't know whether it wouldcount as spam or not.
We need greater restrictions and definitions of what spam is on this site. I don't mean to sound all doom and gloom, but, without a good base, a building cannot stand, correct? Well, let's improve our foundation people.
Also, threads like these will eventually lead to flaming, without any successive changes made at the conclusion, for the most part. It would be most wise to avoid such posts in the future.
Listen to me, digibutter. Yes, it may seem that the moderators have become incompetent...and while this may be true in some cases, why is it they are so horrible?
Is it because they are biased?
Is it because they are lazy?
No. Members of digibutter, it is you and I whom make them this way. This is our own self inflicted curse. A leader is only as good as his or hers followers. If you continue to complain in such a manner, things will only get worse. You can hardly follow the few rules there are here. How can you expect things to get better, when it is YOU who are causing the problems for the moderators whom, in turn, create problems for us? I KNOW that there are a few who understand what I mean. I can't say I expect the majority of you to understand.

OK, wait, I am *crag* tired of this phrase.
Quote: | get rid of your personality. |
YOU CAN'T GET RID OF YOUR PERSONALITY. It isn't possible. I'm sorry...but it isn't.
and then theirs the "Become a modbot" part that comes next. I'm sorry, but they still can't get everything, and this is a forum, and ALL of the user's are
and then, there's OH MY GOD, *Name here* struck me for *something here* but no-one struck me/someone else for *same thing when that name here* wasn't on. Everyone has different opinions on the rules.
I'd put this in a different way, but It's late, and I'm kinda irritable. |

What I meant by that is when your about to do your job, try not to be yourself and focus on your job. Otherwise people will see you as bias, and complain. Read more carefully Maya. And just to clear things up, I don't complain when I get a strike (I just got a strike from Plastic, am I complaining? No) But this was just my current view on the mod team. |

Some of you really think that ALL of the Moderators are unjust or are incompetent? That's heavy! |

Yes, thank you for pointing this out.
People, if ALL the moderators were incompetent, where do you think digibutter would be right now?
It would be overun by spammers, advertisers, and possibly hackers.
The moderators are the ones who help secure the safety of the site, and allow you to do the things that, in turn, cause them to have trouble dishing out justice. YOU OWE YOUR LIFE ON DIGIBUTTER TO THEM. If you honestly believe that all the moderators are incompetent dimwits, then perhaps you need to think again about being part of this community, hmm? |

Alright, I was joking about the Canadian part. But, I gotta go with Chaos Heart. Without the moderation crew, this site would have it's head in the sand. |
