WEll when Reggie wants it, Reggie gets it (joke)
Reggie Fils-Aime has admitted that he would love to see Grand Theft Auto on Wii. Speaking to MTV, the Nintendo Of America President said that Rockstar would have to build a 'bottoms-up' game to make it happen.
Asked whether there were any plans to bring Grand Theft Auto to Wii, Fils Aime said: "You know, a GTA on the Wii is all based on what Rockstar and Take Two want to do. And again, from our standpoint, if they build a bottoms-up game that takes advantage of what we do well, I'd love to see it on the platform."
Yet Fils-Aime did admit that Nintendo had yet to have a conversation with Take Two about bringing the series to Wii.
Fils-Aime did, however, talk about bringing the forthcoming Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars to DS: "We have had a long-term relationship with Take Two (GTA Publisher)," said Fils-Aime. "We've had many conversations with the folks at Rockstar. This is a project they wanted to make. We're thrilled to have it on the platform."
Now we just await the first details from Rockstar... |

If GTA gets on the wii, I will shit myself. I admit it wouldd be pretty cool but it'd sorta be odd and plus I'd have to listen to everybody's parents bitch about how an overly mature game is on a so called kiddie console. Personally I'd like it, probably would have to go through confusing procedures to get ahold of the game though. |

@ sloopy Could you imagine being able to play as your miis and you change blood to something else like beans? |

Hm, I'm interested in seeing how a GTA (WiiTA?) would play out.
So long as they don't do anything drastic to mess up the classic gameplay. |

The Chinatown wars, is OBVIOUSLY, Going back to older gameplay, seeing as a full 3d world on the DS wouldn't be that great... Specially in the GTA series. And there smart, so they know not to make it minigames and shit like that.
A GTA on the wii... Is just wow.
I would love to see it, but not play it.
Please, dear god, be gamecube controller compatible. |
