It's not the meer temperature that would cause the issues. It is the fact that the conditions outside would.

I do indeed know that my statements were rather wrong (I was angery at the moment and could not think straight. That will remain to only myself).

For one thing, in the blood red color, of course this planet wouldn't be as cold as space. Space is far more. When I ment your skin freezing, I didn't mean your whole body turning to ice, but rather frostbite.

Also, I know you were joking, Geno. So was I.

Another note, the reason the first humans survived is because they were lodged into safety under the earths crust. When they did come out, they only remained outside of their abodes as long as they needed. Many did, in fact, die during this era.

Also, igloos are a different matter. They trap heat within them by small increments, plus the fire within them that the inhabitants use, and their clothing/blankets/etc. Igloos would not be much help in the event of another Ice Age.

Even if igloos can't survive in the next Ice Age, we still have the right technology to counterbalance. And even during the first Ice Age, there were areas not frozen over. So if history repeats, there would be *some* areas for humans to thrive.

We will have some technological advantages. But I really doubt there will be another Ice Age with Global Warming. We might see some of the lower parts of South America getting colder, but other than that.....nothing close to an Ice Age.

It's also said that Canada will become one of the most fertile lands with Global Warming of about 4 degrees. Surprised

I just hope we don't have any sudden volcanic activity increase majorly...because if it does...well......

Eruptions release a large amount of CO2 into the atmosphere. Work it out from there on a large scale increase of eruptions. Confused

Yeah, not many people think of a volcanic apocolypse.

The United States has some underground supervolcanoes, and if they were to erupt... We'd all be dead. Let's just leave it at that.

All of that CO2 released by it would increase the rate of Global Warming to a scale of unsurpassed destruction.

Also, there is a supervolcano on the western coast of African that if it erupted, it would have the same effects of the supervolcano under Yellowstone.

Only a gargantuan volcano can match with the effects of the destruction our technology does to the world.

Global Warming doesn't exactly heat up the entire world. It screws around with ocean currents, and just a few oceanic currents twisted, could change weather globally.

There is no such thing as global warming, it's just the climate going through a natural change that's more rapid than usual.

Yoshi really doesn't care about global warming killing the ice caps. He cares, he just doesn't FEAR. See, yoshi is in kansas. TAKE THAT HIGH SEA LEVELS.

Hawaii? Yeah, they're pretty much screwed.
