All the items which the former adventurer had sold in the Bitlands, from Kooparia's brain-devouring ring and Devin's "Bag of Holding" to Kammy's "Crystal Ball" were in fact from this plane of existence. They were either crafted by or taken by the master of this realm.

The Crystal Hypnosis Ball was not of his making, however. The others were, but the when the former adventurer returned with most of the cursed items he had given him to sell to unwary victims (for both profit and amusement), he had been enraged. The poor man was afflicted with a most horrendous disease which would not kill him until the Maker decided he grew weary of his screams.

The evil man now sent a recently made flesh-golem to the realm where the adventurer had failed...
