Since I am a hardcore starwars fan, I am really looking foward to this CGI version of the movie. I am also slightly disappointed that it isn't a regular movie, but I am interesting in the new style of it.
Of course, there are some WTF moments, like what the hell is with the baby Hutt, and what the hell is that ship that Anakin is piloting in the commercials.
Also, I didn't know AT-TE (the six legged walkers) could scale 90* angles.
So, what do you think of the movie to be? |

Well, if it were done by 20th Century Fox, they would've used Live Action actors instead of cheap animation, which is what Warner Bros. would show their pride in, with such gifted animated shows as Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, and of course, Freakazoid, which are all done with the Executive Producing of Steven Spielberg. |

I just hope it isn't bad.
I haven't felt the "ZOMGAWESOME" feeling in the Star Wars saga in regards to episode I, II and III. |

When I first heard the commercial say that it was in theaters, I was like "Wat?". Because i looks like a TV movie kind of thing. I don't plan on seeing it because I'm not a Star Wars fan; but I can still watch it. |

I definitely want to see it. I like the Star Wars series as a whole, but the Clone Wars cartoons were the only thing about it I could really say I LOVE. However, the art style looked much better in 2D than it does in 3D. |

I kinda assumed they would end up filling the gaps in between episodes of the Star Wars Saga. But this looks pretty good and reminds me of those 5 minute episodes they had on Cartoon Network a few years back. I'll watch it if I get the chance. |

The animation aspect is going to let them do interesting things with the series they couldn't replicate with regular live action + special effects, ent. Still I would rather it was live action anyway, ent. |

I never really got into Star Wars, but this really does look epic. I may go see it. |

Wow, that barely had anything to do with the movie. .-.
Anyway, I was a fan of the Clone Wars shorts, so this is going to be a good movie IMHO. |

i think they are going to kind of ruin the movie by taking the element of the old styled 80's star wars with this new, and sort of retarded animation with a dissapointment of interests. or something... |

Those shorts was AWESOME!It made General Grievous look like a total badass.Him and his thirst to kill off all remaining Jedi Masters.(which in those shorts he was doing quite well.)I think at that time, that was one of the few reasons why I even watched toonmai just to see what happened next.(That and that crazy boboboo cartoon)
But then the real movie made him look like a robotic goober who smoked too much(*cough*cough*COUUGGHH)And then right when he got out all four swords I thought finally he is going to get AT LEAST a decent death NO he gets two of arms chopped off in the very beginning of the fight runs away like a pussy and then gets shot by a blaster and dies.... O__O(I added the spoiler here cause its not much but I don't wanna kill some of the movie for you guys if haven't seen SW3 yet so LOOK AT YOUR RISK.)
It just goes to show you that CGI can make anything look badass. So again if its the same people who did those 5 min cartoons then yeah I would watch it.Cause then you could put Obi and Anakin in cats suits through the whole movie and they would probably still look badass. And if they aren't the ones who did those 5 min shorts then I will be a sad panda who probably just wasted money. >__<
(Then again in reality I wouldn't watch it in theaters this is more procrastinating here lol, I might rent it but again I don't think I could go to a Star Wars cartoon an 18 yr old going to a Star Wars cartoon?! That is madness they would think I am a pedo or something lol.)But this is just my take on the movie. ^__^ |
