Even if it is more rapid it is still getting warmer. 
But overall, thousands of years from now, the Earth will be just find. Life will find a way and animals will be fine. Just realize that 99% of organisms that have been on this planet aren't anymore. If we can keep ourselves alive, that would be great. If not, there isn't much to be done except take a few extra steps towards the environment to keep ourselves alive that much longer.
But beyond that, I suggest we all build houses that float on the water like in pokemon ruby/sapphire. It would work great. |

It's not like someone would drop bombs in all of the world's volcanoes! That's basically declaring war on Nature, and creating another Ice Age. I've seen it happen on the Final Episode of "Dinosaurs." However, if the action were to be reduced to a miniscule amount, like a small bomb into one volcano, then the Ice Age would be reduced to a slightly extended Winter. |
