The only game I play that I really dislike people knowing about is Pokemon. I tell people I trust really well though. Actually, the last time I told someone about it, I came to an interesting realization. In my mind, I had a conflict of sorts. I usually really hold back that information strongly, but when I'm about to tell someone, I think "eh, no big deal, right?" but at the same time, I panic. Really weird.
I was sitting at a table in a room full of adults one time, so I took out Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (good game btw). Some guy came over and said "That series good?" Of course the first feeling I felt was FEAR, but I figured if he asked me that, he played it too maybe? So I said "Yep" which is true =p Course, I don't know if he meant the PMD or just Pokemon in general. Anyway, back on track, I don't mind if other people play "kiddy" games. If they're having fun, it doesn't matter, and actually, I'd rather play WITH them if possible. |
