I began teaching Piccolo how to sprite, but she had to go. If you would care to learn too, I can teach the both of you when she gets back.
EDIT: I don't need many spriters. Just you two will do fine. :p
Basically, if someone else is handeling sprites, M'aiq can begin working directly on the game's code.
More work done. Sooner release. |

Actually, M'aiq is holding his private class in a hidden room in Builders Fantasy. You can easily show your progress there. |

Wow. M'aiq is VERY impressed with his 'apprentices', if he could call them that.
In just about two hours, they have vastly improved their spriting skills.
(and M'aiq isn't even done teaching them yet!)
M'aiq will let them post their work if they wish to show it to everyone. |

After a slightly bumpy bit of coding, M'aiq has successfully coded in the Building feature. This is different than the one in most games. M'aiq shall explain it:
When you log in, pick your color and name and whatnot, you will be able to build(in building areas, of course).
This is how building works:
First off, you will need to use the 'Toggle Build' command. The reason this verb is here will be explained shortly.
After activating your building powers, you can go to the build tab, and select whatever you want to build.
So, what happened?
Well, once you hit the verb is when things get different. Instead of placing the selected tile down at your feet, like in most games, it 'selects' it. From then on, whenever you click an unused peice of land, it will place down your desired thing. This makes building MUCH easier. However, be sure to disable your building after you've finished, so you don't accidently click the screen and plop something down by mistake.
Is spam possible?
Well, yes and no. Sure, someone can maniacally run down the road plopping walls everywhere, but when a GM learns about it, that person is screwed. The no comes in with YOUR buildings. Once you place down a tile, it belongs to you until you delete it. This means the only person who can build on that spot is YOU. Thankfully, this stops people from just spamming your house as they see fit.
What about permanant areas?
When you try to build in a permanant area, the game just tells you that 'building is disabled here' so there's no point in really trying.

M'aiq has fixed every flaw he could find in the building portion. Some things have slightly changed, but he will save that for later.
