A small crowd had gathered in the middle of the town. Most of them were school children, but there was also a couple with a baby, a purple-haired woman, and a man wearing a leather blacksmith's apron.
One of the schoolboys wiped his hair out of his eyes and grinned as a tall girl wrapped her arms around him.
"It's done."
The life-sized doll stood before them all, its eyes empty...

Not that it was much different than normal...but she took a different route than usual, and started dragging the paint brush against the ground, trees around her, and tries to do it on the next posters face.
