I totally agree with that except for the Hillary part.
*shrinks* Please don't hurt me! | Well, she had a lot of experience and her husband could even help her out, so we'd be pretty much be getting two presidents, DESU~. |

Personally, I believe that the only reason she got that far was because she has a husband with experience. |

Look at the presidents before modern technology. Besides McCain > Obama anyday. |
I didn't say that they would impeach him, I said I would want him to be impeached. And what's wrong with Obama? | I would list several reasons be would get flamed BIG time
And Um. Experience. | I don't give a *CRAG* about experience. McCain is just Bush, but older. This is all Im saying about Obama vs. McCain, because I don't want to debate or get into a flame, but, ya... ANd don't say "McCain is better because he's been in politics more" or things, because that's just mindless words. |
The fact of the matter is, experience does matter. 'Change' and 'charisma' are fine and dandy, but experience is a huge factor in determining one's credibility; sure, anyone can come along saying things that sound nice, but there's a difference between knowing that one can say something that sounds nice and knowing that someone can do something that sounds nice. If you don't give a *crag* about experience, you shouldn't give a *crag* about who the president's going to be. If you're going to vote or hold an opinion towards someone, you must fully evaluate both sides. Saying "Bush 2.0" is far more meaningless than saying "he's better because he's been in politics more;" and, quite frankly, some find what Obama says meaningless, as well. Your comparison doesn't work; working at a game-development corporation and leading a nation are two different things. Also, if you don't want to debate, don't post a paragraph arguing against someone's opinion. Because that's debating.
Not that I don't think Obama should be president, though. I think that he can do good for the country. Just pointing out that bias flows both ways, and that Obama isn't God. Having a democrat in office for the next 4-8 years would probably help the Republican party recover from its losses with Bush.
Anyway, back on topic.
The whole "politicians not playing and/or knowing about games" is a problem for the gaming community, as it shows that issues concerning gamers and the game industry aren't important issues. And when the issue does come along, they seemingly just follow the popular "censorship" opinion, without delving deep into games and doing research for themselves. Hopefully this will change, and "videogame awareness" increases among politicians. |

Damn it, you just can't trust politicians anymore! *Slams hand on table*
I wonder if Gordon Brown even knows if electricity or fun exist... |
