...Next game up is Twinsanity, which takes place three years after the Wrath of Cortex, in both release date and in-game.


Cortex and Uka Uka are both frozen in a glacier that is slowly drifiting into N. Sanity beach, the first level of Crash Bandicoot 1 and also Crash's home. Cortex melts out of the glacier first, and creates a new lab far away from N. Sanity Beach, one which he calls the Iceberg Lab, and he brings the almost-melted-out-Uka Uka along with him, to keep him frozen.

Days of planning pass, and Cortex goes back to N. Sanity Beach and zaps Coco with a freeze-blast from his ray-gun. He hides her somewhere else and disguises himself as Coco.

Disguised as Coco, Cortex tricks Crash into following him into a battle dome, where Cortex fights Crash, with his minions watching nearby.

Crash defeats Cortex, who flies farther away, and N Gin comes in with a new mech known as the Mecha Bandicoot, which also gets destroyed and accidentally blasts Cortex into a downwards-cave, where Crash jumps into as well. N Gin nearly lands inside as well, but he clings onto a nearby branch.

Cortex, now angry and frustrated, charges at Crash and they start rolling down the cave, finally onto some flat land, where Cortex discovers a crystal that Crash attempts to take from him. While the two are fighting, a portal in the air appears, and giant, robotic ants come out.

The two fight the robotic ants, and make their way out of the cavern safely.

Outside, they are greeted by two talking parakeets, who call themselves "The Evil Twins." They appear to recognize Cortex, and attempt to kill him by bringing to life a Totem Statue.

After knocking the statue out, it becomes inanimate again

I've played Wrath of Cortex. In fact, I've beaten it. Pretty fun.
