A badly damaged mech barely manages to force its way out of the cart-rail path which leads from the more commonly accessed area to the deep forest beyond.

Smoke streamed from its torso and out of its right arm, the later of the two was all but connected.

Evidentally, one of the E-100 model robots somehow survived Gamma's revolt. However, this was not one of the more commonly known E-100 models. This was one which had preformed menial work, rather than important missions. Five of them were enough.

E-109 had only one thing in its thoughts: Find Doctor Robotnik and receive repairs.

Evidently, E-109 was not the only robot in the Mystic Ruins, piles upon piles of badniks had been spread along the coast and into the water, most barely malfunctioning.

...Suddenly, a mechanical hand reached out from the water, and started crawling out...

The much larger robot continued its jerky gait towards the beach...

[Strong Bad]

When he got there, he would find Coconuts, mumbling something. Surprisingly, he looked to be in good condition, although covered in water, he would be the perfect weapon to pit against Sonic the Hedgehog, if not for the lack of A.I, which Robotnik had obviously overlooked at the time. Coconuts screwed his head-light thingy on his head back into place.

"Stupid...new...models." Were the first word he spoke in nine years.

[Medikoopa]

E-109's damaged sensors detected an older model of Robotnik's robots. A-1C, specifically.

"Model-unit A-1C, aka: Coconuts. Where is Master Robotnik?" it droned.

[Strong Bad]

He shrugged. "How should I know? I'm probably one of that sell-out's oldest models!"

[Medikoopa]

This seemed to dishearten the robot. Of course, this was rather strange, as the E-series was supposedly devoid of emotion.

[Spiny]

*Metal had been hiding on the island, waiting for Sonic to pass through either to help someone or check up on Tails and Knuckles.
His adaptive AI had kicked in, keeping himself powered up by absorbing what little electricity some scrapped robots scattered across the island held.
His search for a jumpstart had led him to the area. Upon seeing Coconuts and E-109, he slowly approached.*

"Yeah, so...whatever." He mumbled, looking around the scrapped robots, not noticing Metal.

[Spiny]

*He stared at Iota, and tilted his head slightly.*

[Strong Bad]

Coconuts looked alarmed, he looked up at Metal, before taking out some explosive coconuts, and held his arm back. "It's Sonic the Hedgehog!"

[Medikoopa]

E-109 immediately whirrled around to face the hedgehog...

But before it actually attacked, it stopped.

"Target is not Sonic the Hedgehog."

[Strong Bad]

He looked at Iota, with a look as if he was crazy. "Are you crazy, man? Look at him! He's blue, metal, he has a shiny silver muzzle with claws, glowing red pupils, rocket shoes and he looks like Psudeo Son-" A sweatdrop rolled down his forehead, as he smacked himself.
