The Fissure of Woe - home and domain of the God of War and fire, Balthazar. Once the battlefield of a centuries-long war againt Balthazar by his half-brother Menzies, the clash finally came to an end when Black Yoshi and his Guild vanquished Menzies' forces once and for all. Now, Black was revisiting the Fissure for renewed training to help him keep up with the tenacity of Bitlands villans. A Mists Rift lay open in the Temple of War, welcoming others to train should they choose to.
Black was facing off against a squad of Eternals, the elite guards of Balthazar himself. He had already taken down the opposing Eternal Warrior, and was staring down an Eternal Mage.

Ebony entered the rift and began to practice a new style of swordplay, adapted to be far more smooth. He had created a new weapon: a short blade by adding a hilt to the spearhead of the Spear of Fu Chai, which was used by Fuchai, rival of King Goujian, the owner of the sword Ebony used. By using a semi-long hilt, he made the spear able to reach about half of the length of the blade at 9 inches. Using these two in tandem, he began to swing the blades with a rhythm of sorts, like he was a stream of water. However, he had not unveiled any new skills...yet.

Too reiterate, the sword of gouijan is 1500 years old and in pristine condition due to the materials within it that prevented tarnishing and the airtight wooden scabbard it has sulfur, lead and arsenic on all parts of it, meaning it can cause chemical poisoning just by contact with your bare hands. to combat this, Ebony wears a pair of gloves. However, since it still has the chemicals, enemies hit with this are essentially poisoned. The blade made from the spear of Fu Chai is just pristine and has no special properties. Wiggles randomly rolled into the arena, knowing be him made of stone he could not be harmed by many substances. ((Haven't had a chance to properly use Wiggles yet ))
Ebony at last got an eternal after him by flipping said eternal off, and then put away the short blade. Releasing the waiting energy within, he began to rip the Eternal apart with a smooth yet powerful combo.
