I went to GameStop today to sell some games, and I took Shadow of the Colossus and Ico, just to see how much I could get for them, along with 3 other games to sell.
Turns out the total for all 5 games was $49.40... a decent price. I took the deal. What a *crag* moron.
I was in the moment and sold Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. I didn't realize it until I was halfway through driving home.
So, now, I have a plan to get them back. I'm going to have my mom call them, and say I sold those two games without permission from my brother, who is "crying uncontrollably". Hopefully they'll feel bad and un-exchange if the games are still there.
If that fails, I hope $49.40 is enough to rebuy the games I so wrongly sold.
Damn, those games meant so much to me, and I got caught up in my need for money and sold them. How could I have sold them? Those games are so hard to find, and if they're gone tomorrow... I just don't know what I'm supposed to do, because the money I made was put onto a GameStop Edge card, so I HAVE to get it from there.
I know a lot of you will probably think this doesn't deserve to be in General Discussion, but really, those games meant more to me than almost any other game I own. |

What? You were expecting to get Full Price back for them? If you and everybody else who trades in games were to do that, then GameStop would go out of business, and only local exclusive Game Stores would thrive, with their semi-imported goods! |

He didn't mean to sell Shadow of the Colossus or Ico at all. He just wanted to see what he'd get for them. |

He said nothing about wanting more for them. In fact, the price was impressive enough that he sold two games that meant a lot to him for it. Next time read the thread or at least the first post carefully before posting. |

They wont feel sad. It's gamestop. If they hear your brother crying, they don't care. Hell, I don't care. You should always confirm what you want to sell before selling it. It's your mistake, so I hope that you have to rebuy it. |

I know. DX I do hope for the best of you, but we all deserve to be punished. See, Along time ago I deleted all my brothers music by accident, and he got sooo mad.. To this day, he still wants me to find everybit of his music. It's hard, but although it was not my fault, if it was, I deserve this. But whatever. I do hope you have to buy 2 copys of the game again, for punishment, but I also hope you, at the end of the day get what you wanted. |
