Someone made this topic on another forum I go to, and its really interesting because I like this kind of topic for some reason...well maybe its because the people there were able to bring up good discussions.
With all these pollutions, global warming, and all these countries making nuclear weapons and such, do you think the world's end is nearing? I think its coming pretty close, but thats the human's fault. People can be foolish, but without them realizing it.
I'm going to quote myself too...on my opinion.

I think people's stupity will destroy this world. Or at least, just us people without us realizing it. I mean, theres pollutions, global warming and all kinds of stuff going on.

I honestly think neither us nor God will destroy it.

Nature is my opinion.

Nature is out to get us. Climate change, asteroid impacts, and in about 7 billion years, the sun will expload.

Unless we're advanced enough in the future to move to other planets I'll have to say Nature.

Either Nature will take it's course, or us humans will destroy it. In the world today, not many people care for others, and will even mae them suffer just for their own greed.

...I don't believe in god, so...
But, I don't think we're gonna destroy it either.

It depends which comes first, the sun imploding, or the effect of polluting too much.
Remember a few months ago (I think) when they said that scientists found a planet very similar to Earth......?

Personally, I believe we're going to be the ones to kill Earth. We've already screwed it up enough as is, hm?

It was just the most similar one so far. It's almost unhabitable.

Global Warming may or may not have any major effect in our lifetime, but there is one thing true, we are seriously damaging our planet. Even the very summit of Mountain Everest used to have garbage everywhere, though this has fortunately changed.

The end of THIS world is very possible, from incompitance due to leadership or incompitance reguarding the environment, I'm not sure, but this world will end...and I'm willing to bet sooner than later.

The human race, however, will continue to survive. I dunno how - resistance to nuclear radiation, through mutation, on a space station, world domination, something else with -ation - but we've proven to be very recourseful in the past, and will most likely continue to thrive...or at least survive.

And the only reason God (or Mars or Hunnam the Monkey God or Shigeru Miyamoto, whatever floats your boat) would end the world would be because of humanity. So therefore, we're forcing God's hand...which is bad, mind you...

The sun won't go bye-bye. It'll explode on itself and multiply it's size by a lot and burn up the first four (I think) planets when it reaches the next star stage. Then Pluto may be the ideal dwarf planet to live on, though still a bit cold. I guess since every other planet in our galaxy is made of gas... We might actually have to live on one of Jupiter's moons. Or multiple moons. Depending on if we've traveled to another galaxy before then. But, we might just be extinct by the time that happens.

And the first choice of the poll is very contradictory.

Were living on a ticking time bomb, we have to find the right planet fast, or it's bye bye to the human population.
