AW HELL NO, I was hoping the US won't be involved in this... If only the whole thing didn't start in the first place. |

Chances are the US will get involved with this. The US can't seem to mind their own buisness, and end up helping someone else, despite the fact that we can't help ourselves. It's sad, really. |

I don't see how blowing stuff up with nukes is supposed to make things better with the people you're nuking...is it really so hard to just respect other people's opinions and get along? I mean, we don't need world peace, but it would be nice if we got at least some "world agreement to disagree" stuff; rather than violence to solve every friggin' problem or disagreement. :/
I'm no pacifist, and I know violence is needed sometimes, but how are nukes going to help? Unless you think killing people, polluting the air with radioactive materials, and risking world war is a GOOD thing...
Hopefully this whole thing ends up not happening, or something. I'm not in the mood for the world to get itself screwed into another world war, or any war at all. There's been enough wars already. |

World War 3?! Isn't it too early for that?! Let's just hope that the U.S. doesn't get involved. I'm sure something bad will happen if we do. |

Hardly. It's been over 60 years since World War II ended, as opposed to the ~20 year gap between World War I and World War II. |

I'm not worried. A little ashamed in the American government, yes, but nowhere close to worried. It seems to me that Russia is simply scared of a U.S. approach into its territory, and after butting heads with the stubborn government for a long time, just wants a little bit of security.
Note that it says "possibly nuclear". I believe that this is just buzz from the press, or a tip from some arms dealers. Why? Because those two businesses THRIVE from war, they love it, the more rumors and bad thoughts they put out, the more products their audience will purchase. It's causing us to become absorbed by them through fear, to become absorbed in the effort to support the politics of the U.S., which, it's clear to me, is a trigger-happy nation.
If there's a World War III, there's a World War III. If we die, we die. It's not our faults, but it happened, and we'll just have to be part of the consequence of the leaders that voice our country's desires. Which, it itself, destroys what we think is democracy.
Hopefully, we'll be able to stall the government just long enough to get a new president (I'm hoping for Obama) in office and see where we go from there. |

Damn Communists.
In all seriousness, this can't be good. I only hope Russia doesn't go through with their threats. |

Oh, God. Are they *crag* insane? If one country uses nukes, you know the rest will follow. And THEY know that too, most likely!
Jesus Christ. Jesus *crag* Christ. Excuse my language here, but... what the hell, Russia. Have some common sense. |

NUKES MUST BE DESTROYED
Seriously, I hate those things. I don't care how necessary people say they were, they're some of the WORST weapons ever invented. |

This has been something that I've feared since Russia invaded Georgia. Since it's an excommunist nation, what makes you believe that Russia won't invade Poland? For the same reasons, the Russians may invade Poland like they did to Georgia. Though, do we know what Russia has been doing since the Cold War? They've signed a few treaties to bring down nuclear weapons in Russia, but what else have they been doing?
I just hope this ends before more and more countries are dragged into this. Also, I read somewhere that Russia might get it's revenge on the U.S. for being friends with Georgia. I really hope that they don't team up with Iran, and other terrorist countries of the U.S. |

Well, I think that Russia's President may end up signing a treaty with Georgia. So, consider yourselves lucky that it might go off without a hitch, instead of Russian Bombers destroying American Soil, and that includes the Suburban areas! |

Oops! Did I bring up that disturbingly nightmarish concept? Sorry about that. At least we have protection from the military forces, just in case something like that DOES happen. |
