...No. There were multiple DNA samples. One was human, and the other was opossum.
You guys seem to be forgetting that DNA includes the contents of Bigfoot's stomach, meaning he could have just eaten a possum.

This is not proof of "bigfoot" I don't not believe in him but I think its more like that there are other weird species out there that are so rare that they are rarely seen and turned into folklore. And this is a weird thing but not necessarily bigfoot. |

The human DNA could be from one of the Hunters/the scientists who studied it, since it's common for samples to be contaminated like that. |

Is it just me, or does anyone else get reminded of Yogi Bear when someone talks about Bigfoot? I mean, some people say they can avoid human trackers with intelligence, and so does Yogi Bear!

In my personal opinion, it doesn't matter to me what the outcome is. If there is a new species we didn't know about, okay. If not, well, I'm not saying I didn't expect it to happen that way.
Either way, as long as it doesn't change anything for me majorly, I don't care.
It WOULD be very interesting if it was real though. I'd like to do some tests but...I don't think they would allow me to. If it's not a hoax, I may have to investigate this... |

That sort of reminds me of a moment from a Tiny Toon Adventures episode "K-ACME TV." In which you see a parody of BigFoot, aptly named "BigButt," and Elmyra was about to go after it, except she simply says "...Never mind." And walks away. |
