Ad if that doesn't happen, there's a godlike villain that is supposedly on the good, angelic side, but it turns out that their motives are corrupt.

Speaking of which, technology is inherently evil and is the exclusive province of the Bad Guys. They're the ones with the robots, factories, cyberpunk megalopolises and floating battle stations, while the Good Guys live in small villages in peaceful harmony with nature. (Although somehow your guns and/or heavily armed airships are exempted from this.)

Now this is a cliche that I hate. Why are technology users always EVIL CORRUPT GOVERNMENT BLAH BLAH BLAH and magic users always GOOD TREE-HUGGING HIPPIES WHO LOVE EVERYONE? Why not do it the other way around?
Like, say the world this story takes place in operates under the Gaia hypothesis (that is, the belief that the Earth is a single living organism). Suppose the magic users get their power from the Earth's life force, and that their continued use of magic is draining the Earth, causing it to wither and die. And we're not talking just LOOKIT ME I CAN SHOOT FIRE OUT OF MY HANDS magic, these people use magic for everything. Getting to work, washing dishes, whatever.
So the technology users are trying to save the Earth by giving up magic and finding alternate ways to do all the things they used to do with magic. So they invent cars, and washing machines, and guns for the people who miss shooting fire out of their hands. And ROBOTS gotta have robots. And they're trying to convert the magic users because if they don't the planet will DIE.
Has anyone done something like that before? Because if not, I'd like to.

The last boss ALWAYS changes into some god-like "undefeatable" form at the end. It's usually ridiculously large, too.

Nonetheless, your weak, usually human protagonist manages to defeat said enemy with what seems to be relative ease.

That's... actually a pretty good idea for a plot.

Yeah, if they made a game like that, I'd buy it ASAP.

If a boss doesn't have a health bar of sorts, it dies in ether three or five hits.

So it hasn't been done? It's just something that came to me last night, and I was afraid I might be inadvertently ripping someone off.
I may have to develop this idea more...

-Any quest that involves collecting 7 multicolored magical objects and/or saving someone (usually a princess) from some evil guy.

-Breaking the 4th wall: seriously, (nearly) every game does it (although this one is often funny).

-Start=Pause lololol *shot*

-2 final bosses: the main villain, and something big and, despite being "undefeatable", is actually fairly easy to beat thanks to your newly aquired weapon/super form/flying vehicle with guns.

People jump way too high compared to their hight. Not just mario, link too. In wind waker, L target, then press A, and see how high the kid jumps compared to his height.

Final boss is easier than boss who come directly before the final boss. ((Super dimentio, Ganon, SHROWSER, need I go on after shrowser?))

Grass level, fire level, and water level are ALWAYS in a game.

Some kind of character in the series who stares into your soul.

The funny thing is, the power that seems to turn the antagonist into that probably drains of 97.23% of the antagonist's power, using it to turn he/she/it/they into a completely different, out-of-whack form.

The essentially useless Fighting option that does pretty much nothing until the final boss.

Oh, another one... Fighting games with ridiculously long combo moves that by the time you work out, have little to no health left to fight with.
