The car carrying Shiro, Mary, and the Lich Lord peeled smoothly away from the slums, heading north. The farther they drove, the more the dejected, filthy gray of the 'Goodie' district faded away and became more vibrant.
The ride wasn't very long, but they passed a number of places- huge farm plantations, beaches, forests, and every now and then a huge city, each one with a seemingly predominant color scheme. There was a blue city with an architecture style reminiscent of Cape Cod, surrounded by deciduous trees; a yellow city with low, art deco-style buildings amidst a warm series of mesas; at one point, they passed a coastline where a red cruise ship was carrying passengers towards numerous islands in the distance.
Eventually, they pulled up in front of what seemed to be the largest city of them all. It was...dazzling, to say in the least. Enough skyscrapers to marvel New York, but each one with the beauty of the Eiffel Tower, shimmering in green, embroidered with gold and all sorts of precious jewels. More cars just like theirs drove all about, and men and women who could make any celebrity blush in jealousy walked the streets, smiling and laughing.
The car stopped in front of a hotel. The driver opened the door, and the accountant woman stepped out.

The two stepped out of the car, taking in the sights of the city with suprise on their faces.
This city reminds me so much of Arah... right down to the hallowed atmosphere and Latin phrases.
There's enough money here to make Emperor Kisu sweat... incredible. I wouldn't doubt if the gods themselves would enjoy this.
Though as I was saying... are we going to be able to meet with this Queen of yours? |

The woman ushered them back in the car. Once the door closed, the windows turned black- tinted, so nobody could see in or out.

The woman nonchalantly emptied the ashes from her pipe into an elegantly-designed ashtray. The air conditioning seemed to swirl the particles towards the two...and glowing green orbs suddenly appeared around their hands.
