But when it's made to look real, sometimes your brain just doesn't have time to realize it's all made up.

Nah. No matter how real it looks, it doesn't bother me. However I may twitch at some scenes.
THE brain. I said "your" brain, but I mean THE brain.

Really? My brain realizes its fake. Unless its REALLY realistic, for instance, I would LAUGH if some guy got his head blown off with a pistol. Because that isn't physically possible. My brain wouldn't have time to care for the blood that splirted out.

Even if something IS fake, you can still be scared by the sheer image of it. That's the purpose of horror movies; even though the average person knows that the entire movie is fake, they could still be scared by it.

I have a distaste for violence, unless it's used for comedic effect, and well. Bobobo is the only example of this I could think of...

I don't adore violence, it's just the tool that's needed to get what I really love: pure, raw emotion. Truth. The deepest, darkest parts of the soul...that is truly exciting to get into and see...and I relish the opportunity to see it.

But just seeing some guy's head get blown off is really bleh...underwhelming and disgusting.

Yoshi just doesn't go into the movies. He doesn't know if he'd be scared, or if he'd be okay. He just doesn't want to take the risk. But yoshi's sisters watch things that still haunt him.... Blegh. Yoshi's stomache is seriously hurting right now. >.<

I know that. I'm just saying I don't. It's wierd. I only get scared when creepy things pop out of nowhere suddenly with no warning.
