This is a bit...no, not even that. This is EXTREMELY immature, but, do you want to know what Wii 2 in Japanese would be?
Most likely it would be along the lines of Wii Ni-ban.
But, if you translate EXACTLY, it says, "Wii Ni".
Wii Ni.
Weenie.

1. Wii 2 is just a code name, you will never buy a console called "Wii 2".
2. They're DEVELOPING IT. Development on the Wii started around the initial release of the GameCube, we probably won't be getting 2011 or 2012. |

The Wii is currently the subject of a lawsuit filed by Hillcrest. If they have their way, then Nintendo will only be selling handhelds, no consoles. Their console division should just hold off until the NEW Console comes out, or they'll end up going third party, and release Compilation Discs. |

You know, wireless controllers and analog sticks are used by Sony and Microsoft, as well. Not hard for Nintendo to use 'em, too.
And what I meant is that in order to avoid the patent crisis, all they have to do is build it slightly differently. Patents don't protect from everything that does the same thing. Otherwise, every computer company would be suing each other every second because they all have motherboards. |
