...a free download card for the original Banjo-Kazooie on Xbox Live Arcade 2 weeks before its public release. Kotaku article Now THIS is how you do a pre-order bonus. I'm not sure where to pre-order it though... The Canadian Amazon site doesn't sell it, and the American site won't ship it to Canada.

I'd preorder it if I had a 360... And if it was an ACTUAL Banjo game. |

When I get a 360, this is one of the first games I'm getting. |

Plus the game is only $40: a $70-ish value. Too bad I don't have a 360, and if I do it will be after the game releases.

The music style and characters return, and the game is STILL A PLATFORMER, just in vehicles. If fact, it eliminates what I found annoying about Tooie: taking ages to slowly jog around the massive worlds, so now we have vehicles, and can build (almost) ANYTHING instead of having to learn moves. |

Exploring huge worlds. Not... Exploring huge worlds in under a minute with vehicle assistance... |

In fact, isn't Showdown Town supposedly bigger than anything Rare has created yet? People need to stop complaining when they haven't even played it yet, I'm sure there will be plenty to explore, just now in whatever vehicle you want, or you could just get out of the car and walk around *gasp* . |

Well I already own it, so I'm just going to wait until the game comes out to see if I even want it or not.
I want arcade Banjo, I'm cool with that.
Nuts & Bolts I'm still skeptical about though. |

I have never owned a BK game, I've played the original though and it was platforming gold. The fact that it comes with the original is great, and may convince me to get that instead of say Fallout 3 or some other game sooner. Nuts and bolts is a new step for the franchise obviously, but with Kazooie's quirky style I'm sure they'll do fine with it. It has been promised that there will be a fine amount of walking adventuring but the main feel is the vehicles. |

Rare owns the rights. Rare belongs to Microsoft. It's not that surprising, really. |

I think the solution to the "The game's about exploring huge worlds, not huge worlds with vehicles that make the exploring go faster thing" thing is I think Rare made the worlds bigger than any of the past Banjo levels.
I might get this game after it comes out and I look at the reviews. |
