I can't control my volume or network from my taskbar anymore. Hell, I can't even put them back on for some unknown reason. I'm going to blame TF2 here, or maybe Hamachi, since that's when this started. But that's aside the point. Help me in getting these two back. |

If you go to Control Panel, and then Sound, you can have the option of putting volume control back. Same thing for Network, I believe. |

I don't have access to that. Would it help if I told you I run Vista? | I have vista. Go to Control Panel. Then, there should be a thing that says "Hardware and sound" Click on Hardware and sound. Then you should see Sound. |

Do you not have admin access? If you don't, and the admin took away those privileges... Then you're screwed, at least until you ask whoever manages your computer to give you access.
And, uhm... Yeah, I have Vista as well (on my main PC, I'm on my laptop), and it works about the same if you switch the Control Panel to Classic View. |

It's my own laptop. I'll try classic view. I found the problem. There were too many toastersI just needed to reboot, thanks to the wise advice of my dad. |
