Does anyone read the most "Way past cool" comic series?
If so, when did you start and what do you think about it so far?
.
I just got #191 today and I'm debating wether to take it out to read it or leave it sealed.
This issue has the BEST cover I have ever seen.
Very Happy

Personally, I was never a fan of the comic. It just seemed so...un Sonic-like and filled with boring drama and such. Mabey it's just because I haven't read too many.
Oh, and you should read that comic: I never saw any point in keeping sealed, unread comics and staring at them. If you really want an unopened one, keep that one and go buy another to read at some bookstore.

Collectors see value in several ounces of processed paper and ink, along with many plastic figurines and whatnot. They treat these like 24 carat gold. Why, I have no clue. Anyways, I never read one.

I never read the Archie Comics, but I read the Fleetway comics when I was younger, just for the insane Super Sonic, lulz.

It's so when the comic/figure/etc is discontinued and the opened ones are all gone, they have an assload of money sitting on their shelf, and therefore have bragging rights of some sort.

Why don't they just sell it then?

I collect the Sonic the Hedgehog Archives series of books. Basically....they are small paperback books with all the really old ones in them. I own the first two.

I started around issue 138, and I was hooked. The comic is way better then the games at the moment, and Archie, despite not being a SEGA company, cares about the old KICKASS characters, like Nack, Sally, Bean and Bark, The S.S.S.S.S. Squad. It almost feels like I'm reading a continuation of SatAM at times, which is a great thing.

It and Batman are my fav comic books by far.

But Sonic X sucks. Except for the one issue with the Cape.

The Sonic comics are awesome. I loved the ten years later comics. Very Happy

Sonic X sucks, though.
