The tunnel Owl and the escapees of the Elementary school had found led them into...a jail cell. Its cement walls and floor stretched on for long enough to make their legs hurt from walking, and then stopped suddenly before a wall covered with iron bars.
On the other side of the cell, they could see what looked like a cross between a mad scientist's lab, an animal kennel, and...a kitchen. There were various Frankenstein-esque machines strewn about, cages containing both people and cartoony fiends, and a large oven and cooking implements that would make any professional chef get down on his knees and beg.
Standing by the table in the middle of the room was a large hamster... |
