I'm starting a senior project for school, because seniors are required to do, well, a project in order to graduate.
Since my friends and I are starting early, I need to get a problem solved ASAP.
Whenever I put a video into Vegas, there is no audio AT ALL. I don't know what to do, because I can't record the audio separately. Can someone help me, or maybe show me a tutorial, or a help/troubleshooting page that'll help me solve the problem?
I want to use Vegas, because it has multiple audio layers for both sound effects and music, where Windows Movie Maker only has room for one layer of audio. |

The audio perfectly shows up when importing the movie in WMM?
Well, that's just weird. If no audio is shown when the movie is drag-dropped into the timeline, that means Vegas didn't manage to decode it.
Maybe you could try to convert the video in another format with a software such as S.U.P.E.R. © (google it) |

That S.U.P.E.R. thing sounds really promising. I'll check it out tomorrow once I'm on my main computer. |
