I despised the first one, so I didn't expect much out out of Sluggers.

It seemed like it would be Superstar Baseball (Duh) meets Mario Mix (Storyline + Minigames). The score isn't surprising.

I don't care about reviews.

Everybody has different opinions. I, for one, loved Mario Superstar Baseball, and will love Mario Super Sluggers.

Which I will play one my Wii gets back from being repaired.

If had online play I would have bought it no matter what... but it doesnt, and I won't.

Baseball is EASY compared to putting Strikers and SSBB online.

...but I spent the entire AFTERNOON in challenge mode, until 10:30 P.M., starting at 4! The actual "complete" challenge mode is huge! How dare they!

And the lack of time spent discussing the music or graphics is disheartening. Really, the music is excellent, spanning remixes from Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong Country, and even a Disneyland-esque remix of the Yoshi's Story songs. The graphics are also wonderful, and while playing this I thought, "alright, THIS is what a Wii Mario game is supossed to look like". The detail on the cutscenes in particular is amazing, possibly even surpassing that of Mario Galaxy's.

In short: this game is great, it deserves an 8.

Though Lakitu's even more annoying than before. "Datshabawlgame!" Ugh...

Sorry if I'm all "ranty fanboy" right now, but...I kind of adored the experience. XD

I loved Superstar Baseball and I'm already liking Sluggers, even the whole Challenge mode thing.

I love using the Wii-mote to pitch, bat and dash around the field like crazy. It's a nice concept and it's rather fun.

Can I remind you all that it is EASY getting home-runs in this game? I'm probably gonna get a Grand Slam right before I hit 'Submit' and...

Holy crap... Grand Slam! Thanks Wario!

It's just another Mario spin-off. I knew it right when they announced it.
