It's the internet, and with the internet comes words that won't aways be censored.
This site wasn't made for 4-year-olds, and it never will be. Also, extremely religious people should know what to expect on the internet.

Well, a lot of the intolerable stuff that happens is promptly dealt with by a mod anyway. And not many horrible words are said. It's like a PG-13 movie most of the time around here, which is fine in my opinion. |

Actually, as Francis had pointed out in that topic, 'COPA' overturned something, whereas a separate group, 'COPPA', still disallow under 13s to join forums (without consent). |

How about a compromise:
In your profile, there should be a setting that lets you tell the site whether you're under 13 or 13+. For the under-13s, censors would be active. For the more non-n00b mature members, censors would be disabled. That way, everyone's happy, older members get their daily fill of *crag*, and the parents of little kids who shouldn't even be here won't try and sue Francis.
So, age-based censors: Supported or fail? |

That way it's a decision of the member and not site-wide. Alot of people supported it, and Francis thought it was okay too, but I think he forgot D: |

I actually like Paper Peach's idea better than my original one. Because for the more mature under-13s, they could view the mature stuff. And for others, who are old enough but have very sensitive parents (like my mom but that why I have my door closed and an alternate window open at all times lol), they could have censors enabled.
