Who really cares? Yes. Probably will happen. Same thing has happened with the internet, chat rooms, telephone, ect. Talk to your kids, and that's all.

The one time I got a connection on my DS was with someone my age on campus.
This is the link to the (old) thread that contained our chat. It was mostly random drawings.
I highly doubt that pedophiles would carry around a DS 24/7 and hope to get a connection when the connection fails after a 10 feet radius! It's just IDIOCY! Besides, what kid has their DS on in PictoChat all the time? They'd be playing games, not waiting in the Chat-box in pathetic hope that a connection would exist!
Now, if Pictochat worked world-wide, there would be a problem, but that's not the case. |

Also who would be stupid enough to get information over the internet. If its only like 10ft connection, the victim can just easily look around and say "hey theres the 40 year old perv trying to *crag* me over DS pictochat!". Then some 20 year olds would come and beat the crap out of him. Its nearly impossible to do that =/ ..
But with you guys saying its only 10ft away connection, me and my friend one connected 2 blocks away from each other. |

Take this seriously people!
One time I was on PictoChat (I do NOTHING but PictoChat ALL DAY) and I was riding in the car right, and this guy was driving in the car next to me and he kept stealing glances at me... there was another guy in the car with him... suddenly I get a message, "Hi, this is Gary Ulrich, what's your home address?"
And I was like hey, I might as well tell him, he seems nice enough!
What a mistake that was...
