No it's not. If we have a Spam Board, no one will spam anywhere else. Then not as many people will get striked, and all the spammers won't have topics in the Court |

Oh come on. Did you even read my post? Let me put it this way.
OT is like a house. People want that house super sparkly clean. However, there's no trash bin. When people have no trash bin, they tend to just throw their trash onto the floor. A spamboard would be like a trash bin for the house that is OT. People would start throwing trash into the trashbin more often. |

Honestly, I'm not so sure this is actually a good idea on the surface, because of how 'imperfect' the Meow Mod is. I'd hate to be banned because some member figured that my posts were 'inappropriate'. I'm one of those people who would probably be like "Well...I guess I kinda did screw up" and accept the strike most of the time.
EDIT: And IP bans are a terrible idea on several levels. A very good example? Here's a few:
Smithy - Fox McCloud
Maiq the Liar - BYONDsharp
In other words, brothers and sisters who also use this forum will be restricted as well for no reason other than "your brother or sister was an ass to us, so you can screw yourself too" |

Damn, I wish he posted more. On topic. The Meow Mod is a target for abuse already, and as Maiq said, making punishment worse with the Meow Mod's system around can cause big trouble. Also, IP bans should only be used for people who are using multiple accounts and what-not. Otherwise, no. |
