LISTEN UP!
We need a HALL OF FAME, for good, memorable posts! In fact, this could REPLACE the cookie system (Or at least work with it)! We would get some "hidden judges" (Who are regular members with an eye for quality in the art or YTP or whatever fields) who go around approving a post as "quality" or not, without revealing that they are judges. They're all anonymous- and each judge would judge only things related to his/her SPECIFIC FIELD. The quality posts would be moved to a locked-yet-visible forum for reference.
A HALL OF SHAME would do nicely, as well- this would be for the most terrible posts as judged by the mods and Francis that are still PG-13. You know, extreme drama towards the site. This would function both as an example to members how NOT to act, as well as a place where people can laugh their butts off at those who were bad enough to make it in to the Hall of Shame! It could be a locked forum, as well- or a stickied Wall of Shame in the Hall of Fame. Or, we could call it The BIG, BIG Book of Drama. Whatever sounds better. |

I agree on Hall of Fame, but unless it's Lucasx3 and Yoshiface12 type stuff only I don't agree on Hall of Shame. |

No Hall of Shame. There's no point if it's for jailed/banned users, and public humiliation would only infuriate tempjailed users more. |

People like THEM are what inspired me to make the Big, Big Book of Drama thread the other day! I guess digibutter wasn't ready quite yet, but in the near FUTURE, for members such as rawrskey, Yoshiface12, or Lucasx3, or SAGE, it might work well! |

I like it, but I think it should be for users. And the HoS should only be for banned or perma-jailed users |

We already have a place for the banned and perma jailed members to be made fun of, but it's dead, and you have to dig through it to find stuff!
We need a READILY AVAILABLE archive of the absolute worst members- because, quite frankly, if they're that bad, they deserve to be remembered and despised in a Hall of SHAME! (And, members need to remember the history of the site, too!)

Some big ones, too! I got this idea from a 20,000 member Final Fantasy forum I once went to! I also saw it on some smaller, 2,000-3,000 member forums, as well. It can be successful if we make sure to update it! |

I actually like the ideas of both a Hall of Fame and Wall of Shame. The HoF could be for the best topics, like ones that start a very popular topic. As for the WoS, it could be for displaying the posts that got jailed/benned members jailed/benned. Idea supported. (But for the WoS, it shouldn't be EVERY striked post. Just the ones that lead to jailing or benning.) |
