Practice on good drifting bikes (Flame Runner) and heavy weights are highly recommanded. Shooting Star also works.
Be careful on Rainbow Road. Try not to fall off there, thats why using a good drifting bike works wonder. |

Any tips on how to deal with the cars? They're the bane of my existence. Also, the second booster in the home stretch in rainbow road is a trap. Unless you have high drift and are already drifting to the right sharply, you're guaranteed to fall off the ledge. |

Dodging the cars are pretty easy if you stay away from it. Use a good handeling bike if your having trouble dodging it. |

Use the best bikes for any of the weights.
Small: Magikoopa
Meduim: Mach Bike
Large: Flame Runner, Or Spear(Just because it is so bad-ass. )
After that, drift at any time you can. The computer can and will catch up if you are going to slow. Also, try not to make mistakes every now and then. The computer is great at catching up to you at the last second. Always hold a bananna in First place to deflect Red Shells and if you have a mushroom hold onto it to dash away from a Blue Shell.
There, that should kinda help you. |
