It's not bad, but it's kinda blocky and ugly, and it doesn't seem to like digibutt much. Still great though, and it'll be better once they finish tweaking it.
I'm a dedicated IE user. Nothing you could ever say or do could ever get me to change that. That, and I don't feel like downloading a new browser. Why would you get one if the one you alreay use is perfectly fine? Sure, IE likes to crash on me, but I can live with that.

I didn't realize there were so many web browser fanboys. You say it like you were born an IE or Firefox2 user, like it's your race or family heritage. Safety, performance, features, customization, and freedom are just a few reasons why one browser may be better than another. You spend most of your day using a web browser, so you should make sure you have the best experience. Plus, even if you decide you like your old browser better, it is still fun to try new innovative software.
Scratch that... it actually seems slower and clunkier than Firefox now that I'm using it more. Pages take FFFOOOORRRREEEEVVVVEEEERRR to load, and I can't seem to watch a simple Youtube video without waiting half an hour beforehand. Perhaps it'd work better if my graphics card wasn't so outdated or I was using Vista (which I'm not going to do unless I buy a whole new PC).
I tried it for a bit, but went back to Firefox because the overwrite on letters while typing was too annoying. Maybe when they update it I'll give it another try.

I'm not a fanboy. I don't say that IE is the best. I just decided that I wouldn't download something else as long as I'm content with it.
You said nothing could get you to change, and that "IE likes to crash on me, but I can live with that."

As far as I'm concerned, IE8 works just fine.
I have no real reason to change to something I'm not sure about, at the cost of time and hard drive space.
But you have to go download the IE8 BETA? Something you were not sure about and is bigger than any other browser. Also, many Firefox extensions can save you time.

I find completely switching browsers a bit of a leap. I knew IE8 Beta would have slight problems, but I also knew it wouldn't be too different from IE7. It's not a very big risk in this case.
