It's not spam. He was replying to the topic with his earnest opinion. It was completely on topic.
Spam is short, pointless messages that add nothing to the topic. It may have been short, but it was surely not pointless. He was displaying his feelings towards the topic. It that short sentence, he relayed that the topic, first off, doesn't need to be in Gaming.
Secondly, that the topic itself was kinda...pointless. To him at least.
Thirdly, that he didn't really care so much about the discovery.
It was not spam. At least, in my opinion. Innocent.
