This has come up a lot so I thought I'd ask: Is there a type you think they should have? Or do you think they should change some of the existing types?
On the second question, numerous times have I heard that "grass should be plant, and steel should be metal!" I don't necessarily agree w/ them...
The first new one: Rubber. It would be cool. Weak to fire and ice, resistant to rock, steel, grass, and ground, and immune to fighting and electric. Rubber attacks are super effective on electric, steel, and ?(something else). they would be normally effective on anything else.
Next: Light. haven't thought of specifics yet. |

I'm surprised Light hasn't been added yet. I think it would be super-effective AND weak against Dark, and vice versa.
As for my personal wants...

Yes, that's what I was thinking for light. they have yet to make a type pair that are weak to each other. |

yeah, they really should make a Light type, SSSS-BOOM...existing candidates could be Togekiss, Clefable, Blissey, Volbeat and Illumise...Rotom... |

Fire and Ice should be like that. The fire melts the ice, but then the water from the ice puts out the fire.
Also:
Wood. Weak to Fire, Dragon, Ice, and Bug. Strong to Ground, Water, Poison, and Rock. |

I was thinking possibly a type based around soundwaves... literally a SOUND type... considering all of the current pokemon and attacks that are based around noise and sound (example: Wismur evo series, Chatot, Soundproof ability, Hyper Voice, etc.) |
