I offered an alternative action in ()s so that Francis could choose between the two. Basically, I meant that the final version could either end up being to block one attack and do 20 damage to the attacker, or block 4 attacks and do 5 damage to each of those 4 attackers.
The price was because an item that does 10 damage to the persion of your choice is already available, and it costs 20 coins. This volt shroom requires you to be attacked by someone, and it affects that person who attacks you, so you don't get to choose. |

I'd say the Pokeball was overpowered, it does have only 50/50, and does cost 60 coins...But, it's a joke, I think. And if it wasn't, then somebody else gaining access to your inventory? There go all those `shrooms you saved up. They could also kill you with your own items. They could sell all your items, and take the money. It would just be insane with Pokeballs! I know that was a joke, though.
Anyways, make your items a little weaker. Think about somebody really using these items. They can't be too strong, it would ruin everything. If it does tons of damage, then make it very rare and cost much. Just make them reasonable to use, without being too strong or too weak, and you might see your item being sold through Digibutter. |
Oh btw, disabling use of items only works for the person you use the item on. |

Action: I don't know how plausible this is from a programming standpoint, but I was thinking that after you use it, you get a rank like "Ticking Bob-omb" or an avatar of a a Bob-omb which you keep for 3 posts. Then, on your fourth post, it explodes, giving 5 points of damage to everyone who's posted above you. Not really practical, but I think it'd be fun. Price: 50-ish coins? Image: (All I could find was this cute little walking one. Go Bob-omb, go!) |

Reviving someone is different than giving an extra life. When you lose all your lives, and hit 0 hp, then you are game over (like I am now). Then you need to be revived.
If you are alive, a 1up mushroom will increase your lives so that you don't die when you hit 0 hp.
These are two items that I am currently working on right now. |

Mechakoopa Item Type - Wierd Item Description - A Mechanical koopa that serves one of two purposes. Item Action - 50% chance of being a scapegoat for all attacks on the target member for a time between 30 minutes to an entire day. 50% chance of unleashing a basic flamethrower that deals 3-7 damage to the target member. No offense, but do you people mind if we stray away from the whole per hour ordeal? Some people (like me) only log on to check e-mails sometime and other times I'll sit at digibutter.nerr for a few minutes. But it would suck if you used the item and it acted as a scapegoat for some time you weren't on (such as an emergency situation)...
Maybe make it per visit, assuming that the person never logs off keep it at 24 hours, or include no duration at all, but acts as a scapegoat? But I can already see trouble with the latter (stockpiling) |
