Does your household have any unwritten rules regarding games?
In my family, you NEVER screw with someone's save file if they use it. EVER. If it's not yours, you either leave it alone, or if you're given permission to play it but not save, you do that. Same goes for games with single files: Leave it alone if it's not yours. |

If I want to kick you off so i can play, I can do that. Every system and game in the entire house was either given to me or bought with my own money, since my parents don't give a *crag* about vidya gayums, and my brother is somewhere between core and casual (and doesn't even live here anymore as of a week ago). |

If my sister wants to watch the TV on the big screen, I have to get off the game that is hooked to that TV (and since the TV is so fricken huge, it's impossible for me to move the system). Currently trying to remove this stupid rule created by her. >:U |

Back when my brother still lived here, he had a rule that he could come into my room without asking and play any games I had in there, and refuse to leave, and mess with all my stuff, and ask me for help with the games but then yell at me for trying to help him, and I am going to stop listing things before I get angry. But I couldn't even open his bedroom door without him bitching at me.
Glad he doesn't live here anymore. |

There really aren't any, since I'm the only one who plays the games, but I can't play until either my homework's done, or I need a break.

Just a couple of rules here...
1) I am the ONLY one allowed to use Lucario in this house. Anyone else using Lucario will recive merciless beating. No exceptions.
2) My mom is the ONLY one allowed to use Marth in this house.
3) DON'T *crag*ING STACK CONSOLES ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. THIS PISSES ME OFF TO NO END!!!
4) Anyone who uses the term "tier" while playing SSBB is to be hit with the controller you are currently using. Then yell "Tiers are for queers!". This is to be done by one or more of the people in the room. No exceptions. |

Fortunately, I'm an only child. (Which, as a side note, makes me ineligible to be drafted for the military. Apparently, after WWII, they made it ILLEGAL to draft people that have no siblings. Hooray for me, since I would FAILBOAT in boot camp on the first day. Where was I? Oh, yeah.) But there's a few rules in my house as well. Namely:
1) No gaming until after 5 PM, and not later than 9 PM. (8:30 on school nights.) My secret rule workaround: Mario Party DS.
2) After playing a game that requires Steam (namely, Portal), or playing a WFC game, either manually close Steam or unplug the Wi-Fi USB connector. Both are Bandwidth hogs, and my dad REALLY likes to watch things on LiveLeak. Which I don't understand, since YouTube is SO much better.
3) No playing on the internet during homework. My secret workaround: Three things (Closed door, keyboard's "Mute" button hotkey, and Alt-Tab.).
4) No buying or playing M-rated games. |
