If someone could hear him, HWG was literally yelling out of frustration and anger.
Why?
It's because Baby Bowser was not being supervised by him. But, since there were demonic birds outside... yeah... he probably gave away his position.

Ahiru, who had been awakened by the cawing, had almost rushed out of the front doors before she ran into Mary and Spiny. ...Literally.

Ebony snuck off to the inn kitchen area and grabbed a paring knife. He used it to make several small cuts on himself, making them look like the raven's work. He then washed the knife clean and placed it back where it was. He then allowed the blood to drip down and make a trail from the inn entrance to his bed, which Ahiru could follow if she went to the Inn. After that, he simply leapt onto the bed and made himself comfortable. "The wounded hero look is perfect. She'll fall for it, and I'll be one step closer to my goal...I just hope Ivory doesn't intervene..." He then went to sleep. |

Ahiru turned around, however, at Scorwa's voice, and nearly replied- at least, before she saw Ebony's bloody trail, which elicited a shriek of terror.
The ravens, seeing Bowser and Tuck, continued to caw.
As for HWG...he would suddenly see an upside-down face drop before him; someone was kneeling on his cannon and looking down at him.

(Since Exuro's not back yet, I guess this plot has enough people so we can have two heart shards out at once...) |
