Easy GIF Animator's 20 free trials ran out long, long ago, but I still want to make GIFs without having to rely on other people to make them for me. Problem is; every other GIF animator I've downloaded leaves "watermarks" or whatever you call 'em on the GIFs, which makes them...unattractive, and it annoys me.

So; anyone know of ANY free {AND LEGAL} GIF animators that don't leave watermarks or whatever?

Nope, I tried that already. It still said I had 0 trials remaining when I re-installed it.

Microsoft GIF Animator, while being a bit old-fashioned, is pretty good, and it's free for the entire thing. It's worth a try, though it takes extensive work on Paint.

Hey, I'll do extensive work on Paint if it gets me a decent animator.

Do you have a link to the place where you download it, or are you going to force me to stop being lazy and Google it? :<

Yea, what Vid suggested, since I use that for my crappy animations as well. It's actually pretty good besides the palette simplyfying thing.

It would be way faster to find it yourself than to wait for him to post it.

Not saying anything about Vid - it applies to anyone.

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/13212

1.) Copy picture in Paint program
2.) Press "paste in the animator

You may notice an unattractive quality due to the default settings, toggle "Import Color Palette" to "Optimal Palette" and "Import Dither Method" to "Error Diffusion". It's what M'aiq has his set to. It seems to keep the best quality while adding only the occasional light grain effect on larger pictures.
