Kooparia was seated in one of the chairs. She had managed to get this room emptied of people so she could talk in private with someone.

He should be arriving soon, as she sent him a message saying she wanted to talk to him.

Mr. I sighed as he strolled in. He was looking quite dapper due to the occasion, his shell waxed and shined, his glasses finely polished, and his robes finely straightened. He looked at her, cringed for a moment, then sat down.

"Yes? How may I help you?" he asked with a sour taste in his mouth.

"It was... explained that we once were..." Kooparia began.

"I want to talk about it. About why we first were... and then you took it all away..."

He chuckled. "Oh, I took everything away, did I?" he started laughing. This was just...absolutely hilarious to him.

"Well, I'm glad you finally put the pieces of the puzzle together...so yes, I'd be more than happy to discuss it with you...

Also, as a side note, I hope that this clarifies the whole "stalking" thing."

Kooparia winced at the word 'stalking', which she had so often used in reference to him.

"How about we start from the beginning. Why did I fall in love with you?"

He sighed. "In all honesty...I don't think I can answer that question. I can say why I fell in love with you, and what crap came out of that, but...I've been trying to figure that out for so long, and I just can't figure it out..." he muttered, his voice getting weaker as he went on.

"If you loved me so much... why did you take away all my memories of our time together?" As she spoke, her eyes were glistening with tears. She had never thought someone would love her enough to marry her, but for that joy to be taken away...

He looked away from her, eyes watering. "I...I was terrified, okay? You...just kept getting into danger...and that scared me to death. Every minute I spent without you...I lived in the fear of losing you. I'm sorry...I just couldn't let you go...s-s-so I...I...I made it so you wouldn't leave. After a few minutes, I realized the horrible mistake I made, and you ran off, crying. I...I know I'm evil...and realized in that moment that I was a threat to you. So I...I made it so...so I couldn't...I wouldn't...hurt you anymore..."

At this point, he was bawling, magically creating tissues galore

As he weeped, Kooparia took a vial out of one of her pockets. It was a potion which IJ had given her a long while back. He said it'd help her remember.

"I? My- our son gave me this... Part of me wants to take it so I can remember... but... what about your new love? How would she feel if I suddenly remembered everything and wanted you back? I don't... I don't know what to do..."

He cried, but tried to regain his composure. "I...I...I just don't know, Kooparia. I...I honestly can't answer that question...I don't know...and...I'm terrified..." he admitted, shaking.

He curled into a ball, enveloped in his terror.

Kooparia reached over and nervously patted Mr. I on the back.

"How about if I flip a coin. That way, you'll only have the coin to blame if something goes wrong...?"

He tried to say something audible, but failed. Eventually, he nodded weakly.

Kooparia took out a special Koopa Koin, which resemble many Human-made coins in the fact that one side has the King's face and the other has the emblem of the Kingdom.

"Face, I'll drink it. Mark, I won't."

And the coin went up in the air...
