...But for Groups, instead. No, not group forum topics. Groups. Then, if there's a group no one knows about, they can find out about it. I know I would like to see appealing groups this way, rather than scanning the entire groups forum looking for something. |

If you would want to advertise your group, try doing Cracker-Launchers and put the link to your group in it. That, or post a topic in your group and searchlight that. If they see a topic in your group that's searchlighted, they might want to join. Searchlights for groups seems very unnecessary. |

I'm not saying I want to advertise my own group, I would like to see some advertisements. I think it would be cool. ANd besides, they can't see the topic if they're not in the group. |

You can if someone searchlights directly to a group forum topic, even if you're not part of it.

Francis has stated that all group forums are public. You can post in and see all topics in all group forums. You can also see all new group topics by clicking "Find new posts since last visit" on the top of the Forums. Even if it's not you wanting to advertise, though, they can do the method stated above. |
