Two main parts to this:
On the index page, a new section is added listing every user who's digibirthday is today.
When a member has been on the site for a whole year and made a set number of posts/been online a set number of days, they recieve an automated PM congratulating them and giving them 100 coins. The amount increases by 100 each consecutive year (200 for 2 years, 300 for 3 etc.) but if they do not make the required number of posts/days the present returns to 100.
The posts/days thing might not be a bad idea, but I think this is an OK idea. Your thoughts? |

Wait...by "digibirthday", you mean the day 1 year after they joined, right? Sounds good, then. Crew should be rewarded for longevity. Otherwise no, people could lie about their birthdate and get coins early. |

Well, as long as users that have already been an active user for a year are compensated, I guess it could be okay.
Maybe Meow Mod could send people blocks of gold instead of an automated PM from Francis or whatever. |

This would definately work. 'Tis a good way to try and keep members on.
And as long as it's total amount of time active - I'm sure there are people who stay in the cbox and posts a few times a day who would find this extremely unfair. |

This idea is actually pretty cool. Maybe 100 coins as default, but the more posts you make during the year the more coins you get? |
