I made this topic because my bro thinks its a very stupid idea, and calling me a fanboy for not agreeing. I said there are some people who think its a good idea, so my question to you is, What is your opinion on it?

I wouldn't buy a remake of a game I already own, but if it's a game I don't have, I'd consider it.

All it's doing is confirming they have no earth shattering shit up their sleeves like everyone keeps saying.

Gamecube game + Wiimote compatability.

In other words, Metroid prime will be the same exact game, but the controls will be like Metroid Prime 3's.

Blah.... then I would say what Dr. Eurhok said. If I have the original, Im not going to buy the same one but with different controls.

Metroid Prime 3 controls (especially on Advanced Sensibility) would be a total Game Breaker, I think - you'd aim far quicker and more accurately.

I would rather buy a new game then a remake, though.

I'd only buy the remakes if I didn't have the game.

If I don't already have it.

I think by "remake" they mean like what VC does.

They need to get Wii remakes of old DS games, with point-and-click being the touch screen.

I doubt they'll even do that.

Probalby the same controls, just using the Wiimore and Nunchuck.

Are they actually REMAKES, or are they the same games with different controls?

I think this is a good idea for certain games that are hard to find on shelves nowadays, notably Pikmin and Pikmin 2.

I'll probably end up buying some of the games I don't have.

I'll only like the thought if Sega remakes Sonic Gems Collection so you can use Motion Controls in Sonic R to make Tails Doll cut your opponents.

Nah, if Nintendo knows what's good for them, they'll figure something new out.

I have no doubt when they say 'remake' they'll atleast add new features and content to the games.~
