Like Final Fantasy. |
I found far more Final Fantasy titles great than I found Zelda titles great.
Some of them aren't as good as others, but I honestly can't think of any that I truly thought were bad games. Zelda, on the other hand, I can. Only a few- Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, and to a much lesser extent, OoT- truly interested me. |

I found far more Final Fantasy titles great than I found Zelda titles great.

Oh God, don't get me started on Final Fantasy 7. Crisis Core was a failure, Advent Children (althought it wasnt a game) was a failure, and Dirge of Cerberus. AND THAT'S ONLY FINAL FANTASY VII.
All Zelda games have gotten great reviews, although some weren't better then the others, they were all at least GOOD.
Now, I clearly see how you love Final Fantasy, and Im sure you can clearly see how I love Zelda, so lets just leave are opinions to areselves. We don't want a Final Fantasy vs. Zelda, Cloud vs. Link, Square Enix vs. Nintendo thing to sparkle, now do we? |

Zelda's fun... but it's too repetitive. Yeah, yeah, Mario's repetitive, but it manages to mask it to some degree.
I like Zelda when it kind of varies itself. I liked Four Swords... good party game, not much other than that, though. The Wind Waker was nice, but it'll never be my favourite game. Same with Ocarina of Time.

Crisis Core was a prequel, but it isn't part of the main series. I wouldn't call it a bad game, but it was disappointing, in that it didn't capture the feel of the original game as well as it could have. Another reason why it wasn't great was because the whole Compilation wasn't planned from the start (FFVII ended perfectly, but then there's fanservice.) Hopefully, since Fabula Nova Crystallis is planned from the beginning, it won't be bad. |

Wait, isn't comparing Final Fantasy to LoZ like comparing apples to oranges? The closest thing Square has ever made that is an apple-to-apple comparison is the Mana series, and I don't really think we should compare the two. *strokes metaphorical beard* |
