How about we remove all of the justice department forces the site has? That includes, the moderation staff, The Jail, The Court, and Meow-Mod. Your probably thinking I'm out of my mine or something and thats ok because, I pretty much am.
We all know that doing this would cause an insane amount of chaos but when you think about it, it might actually help the site. People would get bored of spamming, breaking the forum and all that good shit. Then perhaps our current users would act civil and put meaning in there posts. It could also provoke more activity on the site, maybe people wouldn't just join and leave because there afraid to post. This very act may in overall help the site be a better place in the end.
I know this sound pretty *crag* retarded and you are probably thinking that this wouldn't work at all, but it could work if you all gave it a chance. Soooo guys...whata ya say.  *puts up sheild* |

I'd have to say no. A lot of people don't "lose interest" in spamming and flaming, people like you, Mama Luigi, etc. have been at spammy kinda stuff for like a year and are still doing it. And we'd be way too open to porn raids and such if Francis is the only guy who can delete/move/lock/jail. |

Yeah thats because all of the systems were in place, you see alot of the spammy/flamish people want a challenge so there spam/flames mean something...And with all of the crap thats in order now sort of actually provokes all of the spam/flames/, if we were to remove all of it though...people would eventually lose interest since all of there spam/flame would mean nothing...because of how easy it is to do so and get away with it.
It's a giant leap of faith pretty much. |

Look, this is actually a decent idea for the short-term. I had a similar idea about a year ago, but with a secluded 'Flopside' forum, to tire users out of spam without making the site turn into a crap-infested freakshow. Unfortunately, eventually, spam will become a viable option again. And also, sometimes...spam just never dies. Like Mudkip or CATS or Liquid...it just...doesn't...*crag*ing...DIE!
If spam were the end of the world right now, then sure, maybe. But currently, this'll lead to a huge dissatisfaction with digibutter all around, and I'm guessing might spark an exodus. I'd really rather not have that happen...okies? |
